Bridgewood Lodge

Our Heywood outreach Team Leader was asked by the Manager of the Bridgewood Lodge in Heywood, an Anchor Trust Home for those 50 years of age and over to help with some general maintenance and landscaping of a large border area. Tony Stubbs and Keith Edgar led on this project with other VIC members from the Heywood and Middleton areas to clear an overgrown border so that the residents could plant some flowers and bushes. They wanted to sit outside during the day and maintain it themselves.

The work was started in late October 2015 and was finished in time for an open day on the 20 November.
