Lest We Forget Commemorative products
VIC member Ivy Limbrick

We have a produced a number of Remembrance items using images that our members have either made or painted at one of our groups. The Lest We Forget images were made by one of our members Ivy Limbrick using a Fret saw.
Fretwork is an interlaced decorative design that is either carved in low relief on a solid background, or cut out with a fretsaw, coping saw, jigsaw or scroll saw. Darren Horsnell our Arts & Crafts Co-coordinator using sublimation printing to print on a range of materials; ceramics, leather, cloth, glass, wood and slate These items can either be purchased at the Accrington Veterans Drop-in, on-line or at the VIC Centre in Haslingden. |
